MY MICROBIOME

Discover how your intestine influences your well-being

It gives you clear and science-based information about your intestinal health. Through a personalised analysis, you will receive recommendations tailored to your needs to optimise your diet and lifestyle, thus improving your well-being.

The intestinal microbiome is its own ecosystem, composed of a variety of bacteria, viruses, fungi and other microorganisms crucial to our well-being. They help digest food, play a key role in the regulation of our immune system, the production of vitamins and even in our mood and mental health.

A healthy and balanced microbiome ensures that our body functions smoothly. If this delicate balance is altered, inflammatory digestive problems, psychological, dermatological problems, overweight, among many other health ailments, may appear.

MY MICROBIOME

Know your microbiota and balance your health

  • MyMicrobiome is a non-invasive test. The microbiome sample is made from a stool intake, suitable for anyone

  • MyMicrobiome studies the composition of microorganisms in your intestine, identifying patterns linked to well-being or possible alterations. Thanks to this analysis, it is possible to detect imbalances and create a personalized plan that includes probiotics, prebiotics and changes in diet and lifestyle to optimize your health.

  • Once the sample is received in the laboratory, the estimated time to perform the test is within a maximum period of 25 days.

Discover the power of your microbiota

Your intestine is home to a unique ecosystem composed of bacteria, viruses and fungi essential for your well-being. Even if we don't see them, these microorganisms play a key role in:La digestión y absorción de nutrientes

  • Strengthening the immune system

  • The production of essential vitamins

  • Prevent colonization by certain microorganisms that can generate the development of diseases.

  • Mood regulation and mental health

70% of your immune system is in the intestine

About 70% of your immune system is found in the intestine. The microorganisms there are crucial for the defense against pathogens and the regulation of the immune response. A healthy microbiome strengthens your defenses and protects against inflammation, so taking care of your intestinal flora is essential for a strong immune system.

Why is a healthy intestinal microbiome important?

Your intestinal microbiome influences the health of your skin

Your intestinal microbiome has a direct impact on the health of your skin. A balanced microbiome supports the skin barrier and can reduce inflammation and skin diseases such as acne or eczema. Through a healthy diet, you can strengthen your microbiome and, therefore, improve the appearance and vitality of your skin.

Your Microbiota and impact on intestinal health

The balance of the intestinal microbiota is essential for digestive and general health. An imbalance in the composition of intestinal bacteria can be related to various conditions, such as Leaky Gut (permeable intestine), SIBO (bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine), gluten sensitivity and even irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

  • Leaky Gut: An imbalance in the microbiota can compromise the intestinal barrier, allowing the passage of toxins and triggering chronic inflammation.

  • SIBO: Excessive growth of bacteria in the small intestine can cause bloating, gas and malabsorption of nutrients.

  • Sensibilidad al gluten: The microbiota plays a key role in the digestion of gluten and in the immune response, being able to influence the appearance of digestive and systemic symptoms.

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS): Alterations in the microbiota can contribute to inflammation and deregulation of the digestive system, causing abdominal pain, changes in intestinal transit and general malaise.

Your well-being weight and intestinal balance

Your intestinal microbiome plays a key role in metabolism, influencing the way the body obtains energy from food. Research has identified that some types of microorganisms are associated with a healthy weight, while others could favor the accumulation of fat and increase the risk of overweight.

90% of the happiness hormone SEROTONIN is produced in the intestine

About 90% of serotonin, the so-called happiness hormone, is produced in the intestine. It not only affects your mood, but also digestion and sleep. Therefore, a healthy intestinal microbiome is crucial for your emotional well-being.
